Little Pretty Things Chocolate TastingYork is home to some big names in the chocolate industry, Rowntrees created Kit Kat, Smarties and Aero whilst Terrys created the Chocolate Orange and the rich dark All Gold collection. The boom of the railway brought movement to the city and helped ship products around the countr, making Terrys and Rowntrees household names.

The Terry's Shop, St Helen's Square

Join us on our tasting evenings as we discover York's chocolate heritage of days gone by whilst learning how chocolate is made and tasting rare and exotic chocolates from around the world.

Our tasting evenings take place in the gorgeous setting of the Mansion House, the official residence of the Lord Mayor of York, one of these was Joseph Terry, who took on the role 4 times and must have entertained greatly in the house in his day!

Please be aware that the chocolates we will be tasting contain soya, they may contain traces of nuts and some will have dairy in them. Please contact littleprettything@gmail.com or T: 01904 898393 to discus special dietary requirements.

Our tasting evenings will be a treat for the taste buds whilst learning, entertaining and indulging all in one! Please visit our website for more information about a whole range of chocolate indulgence events and products for you to discover

At Little Pretty Things we love all things chocolate: eating, making, cooking and most importantly sharing. We find that chocolate never fails to bring a smile to someone's face and we like making people smile.

We invite you to join us as we immerse ourselves in chocolate, share our passion with a tasting journey, learn how to make, give a gorgeous gift, or discover chocolate's past and it's history in York - the Chocolate City.
